The early bird tickets are available from the from the secretary’s office at Mossman Showgrounds. The office is open from 9 am to 4 pm. Eftpos is available for early bird tickets and Cash only for bonus tickets at the office.

DOG JUMPING SHOW
Who let the dogs out!!!
Port Douglas Vets have come onboard to bring back the popular Dog Jumping competition which featured at the Mossman and District Show in 2019. Whether you love dogs or not there is plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
If you think your dog is a jumping star, please contact Ann to register for the Dog Jumping competition at secretary.mossmanshow@telstra.com or you can register your dog on the day. (all dog sizes, ages and shapes allowed)
RANGER NICK
This year we are welcoming back Ranger Nick! Bush cook Guru and weaver of yarns and poetry, Ranger Nick is an entertainment extraordinaire!
He has been demonstrating camp oven and bush cooking skills professionally since 2010, travelling the country and abroad, and we can’t wait to see him again and learn some more of his tips and tricks!

NOAH’S PIG RACING
Noah’s Thoroughbred Racing Pigs is entertainment at its best. Fun filled enjoyment for all ages. From the bugle race call, through the obstacles, to the last snout in the finishing trough, crowds will be cheering their preferred pig to the end. The pigs are neck and neck, trotter to trotter, racing for the trough…..finally they reach the finish line, pushing and shoving to get their snout in the trough first.
MELVILLE’S ANIMAL FARM
Come along for an up close experience with farm animals, Melville’s Pioneer Animal Farm will be on display over our 2 day show. Animals include baby chicks, ducklings, guinea pigs, turkeys, Geese, baby lambs, baby goats, piglets, calves and many more. No admission fee.
RESTA REPTILE SHOW
David Williams from Resta gives a very informative commentary of different types of snakes found throughout Australia and the world. David has many snakes available for different viewing and his shows run throughout the 2 days of the show. David’s snake shows runs at different times on both days and there is no admission fee, however gold coin donation can be made.
WOOD CHOPS
MOSSMAN HIGH SCHOOL BAND: (WEATHER PERMITTING)
The Mossman High School Concert Band will take centre stage at the Mossman Show on Monday evening to play hits from Broadway to the latest Top 40 songs. The Mossman State High School students will put on a great final performance before the fireworks display.
FOOD
You can get a delicious dagwood dog, woodfired pizzas, hot potato chips, at one of the travelling show caravans, or enjoy mouth-watering delights from the food court area. You can also get yummy hamburgers from the local Soro’s Burger Bar (ALP building).
ATM/EFTPOS FACILITIES
Eftpos facility is available at Jack, Grogan Street Gates and the Main Bar. ATM is also available inside the Mossman Showgrounds near the main office.
THINGS TO SEE AND DO
Check out the local art, craft, photography, needlework, horticulture, agriculture and culinary talent on display in the Victor Crees Pavilion. And you must not forget the amazing displays from our local schools and kindy’s.
