WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUNG JUDGES CATTLE CONTESTANTS TO SIGN UP IN 2024!

For a second year running, The Fat Cattle section of the Mossman & District Show Society is continuing with the Young Judges competition in 2024. If your interest is cattle, then get your name in for this competition.

This would involve people between the ages of 15 to 25.

They would be required to judge the livestock in probably three classes of cattle entered in the show, score them using a common score card system, and make comments to the judge on why they have made the decisions they have.

They will receive feedback and advice from the judge on the day and will also be given prior access to background material on structure, conformation and judging.
